Of the Four Heavenly Kings, Tamonten is located to the north (left behind) of the main image, and is recreated in three dimensions with a total height of approximately 160mm, giving it just the right presence and allowing you to appreciate the intricate details when you hold it in your hand.
This item beautifully recreates the tranquil atmosphere of the real Tamonten statue, with the pagoda held high in his hands, his mouth slightly open, and his gaze directed up towards the sky, all of which give the impression that there is something even more sacred before his eyes.
In addition to the three-pronged spear held in his right hand, which are essential to Tamonten, the roughly shaped pedestal, and the pagoda that is said to bring prosperity to those who hold it, the sculpture also expresses the subtle unevenness of the decoration on the surface of his armor, the different shapes of the waist guards on the left and right, and the texture of the different materials such as cloth, leather, and skin.
To prevent the details and characteristic curves of each part from being crushed by the mold forming process due to the effects of injection molding, the parts have been cleverly divided with an emphasis on the beauty of the completed assembly. In particular, even the small parts such as the ears and shoulder pads of the armor have been sculpted with high precision, and the intricacy of the original form is faithfully expressed in the plastic model.
