I have a tummy, and this style of "waistline" honestly reduces it nicely!! It reaches ankle length on my 5ft 2inches short body, and a pair of heals will finish a slimmed down elegant look. Have a few of these dresses now, with the strange waistline, and the compliments are regularly received. Reccomend this pattern for a lovely autumn look.
