Working Principle:
Due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion, the bimetal sheet has different degrees of thermal expansion and contraction on both sides when the temperature changes, so the degree of bending changes at different temperatures.
When the temperature is higher than the expansion temperature of the bimetal, the bimetal contact position is deformed and disconnected, the circuit is broken.
When the temperature is lower than the expansion temperature of the bimetal, the bimetal contact position is restored to its original shape and closed, the circuit is closed.
The thermostat is divided into normally open and normally closed two kinds:
Normally closed: when the temperature is set, the thermostat is in the normally closed state, when the actual ambient temperature drops to the set temperature or close to the set temperature, it will start the load to heat up, usually the thermostat is in the normally closed state, when the actual ambient temperature is greater than the set temperature, the load is always in the state of stopping the operation.
Normally open: when the temperature is set, the thermostat is in normally open state, when the actual ambient temperature is greater than or close to the set temperature, it will start the load to dissipate the heat, usually the thermostat is in normally open state, when the actual ambient temperature is lower than the set temperature, the load is always in the state of stopping the operation.
