[Integrated Variable ND and Polarizing Filter] The H&Y HD Evo-series ND3-1000+CPL Filter Kit, with a 72mm filter diameter (filter body + magnetic lens adapter set), is a 2-in-1 filter that offers two effects: light reduction from a variable ND filter and adjustment of reflected light from a polarizing filter. It can be attached in two ways: magnetic mode (magnetic attachment/detachment) and screw-in mode (screw-in).
[ND3 to ND1000 Adjustment Range] The adjustment range is approximately 1.5 to 10 stops, providing the effect of 9 ND filters (ND4, ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64, ND128, ND256, ND500, ND1000) plus CPL (only when using magnetic mode). It can handle various situations, such as when you want to reduce the shutter speed in video or landscape photography, or when you want to open the aperture, such as in portrait photography.
[Two attachment/detachment methods to choose from] If you screw it directly onto the lens without using the adapter ring, it will function as a screw-in mode, in which case it will function as an ND3-1000 variable ND filter. If you attach the included magnetic lens adapter [ELA] to the lens, it will function as a magnetic mode, allowing for instant attachment/detachment and replacement, and functioning as a variable ND + CPL filter.
[Operation Instructions] Magnetic Mode: Turning the central knob adjusts the reflected light from the PL filter, and turning the front frame adjusts the ND density. Screw-in Mode: Turning the front frame adjusts the ND density. *Due to the optical characteristics of variable ND filters, a characteristic unevenness may occur when using a high density at a wide angle. Also, since the adjustment knob is fixed, it cannot be used in conjunction with a bayonet-type lens hood.
【Excellent Maintainability and Compatibility】With Nano coating providing water-repellent, stain-resistant, anti-static, and scratch-resistant properties, it offers high maintainability and allows for long-term filter use. It is compatible with the conventional H&Y magnetic system, and can be used with various magnetic filters, stacked, and with the lens cap [LC]. *While it can be attached to adapter rings and step rings [MA], we recommend using the specially designed [ELA] adapter ring for smoother rotation.
