■Introducing approximately 100 picture books categorized by genre After graduating from the idol group "Dempagumi.inc," Yumemi Nem is active in a wide range of fields, including producing the original character "Tanukyun" and running "Yumemi Bookstore," which focuses on picture books and aims to "nurture future book lovers." This book conveys the joy of engaging with picture books through Yumemi's introductions to her favorite works. The book introduces approximately 100 works, categorized into "Long-time Favorites," "Food," "Read-Aloud," and "Popular with Adults." The charm of these works, which can only be felt by someone who runs a bookstore and is surrounded by picture books every day, is expressed in her unique narrative style.

■The interview series features Harapeko Megane, Keiko Shibata, and Kenji Ozawa As a special feature, this book includes interviews with Harapeko Megane, an illustration unit that works with the theme of "food"; Keiko Shibata, the picture book author whose "Bread Thief" series has sold over 1.5 million copies; and Kenji Ozawa, a musician and father of two children. Each interview revolves around picture books, but also delves into a wide range of topics, including creative work and education.

The book's design is by Masataka Kikuchi. Photographer Shintaro Nakamura also participated, resulting in a book that can be enjoyed by a wide range of generations for many years to come.
