Crafted from lustrous satin, this sukajan features a bold, fully embroidered Japanese pattern across the chest and back, creating a stunning and gorgeous look. The neck, chest, and wrists are ribbed for ease of movement. The designs include tigers, maiko (geisha), wind gods and thunder gods, hawks, dragons, rose tigers, roses, wolves, goldfish and cherry blossoms, carp and cherry blossoms, cranes and cherry blossoms, moon and white tigers, monsters, skulls, snow women, nine-tailed foxes, cat demons, gassha skulls, and Yamata no Orochi (eight-headed serpent). The wind gods and thunder gods are a traditional motif of Tawaraya Sotatsu, a national treasure. It also makes a great souvenir or gift.
