By adopting an open-back acoustic structure that does not acoustically block the housing, reflected sound inside the headphones is reduced, enabling the creator to accurately reproduce the sound field intended.In addition, a large acoustic resistor is used in the opening connecting the front and back of the driver unit to optimally control ventilation.Spatial resonance is eliminated, resulting in natural, rich bass reproduction with little coloration.
The diaphragm was designed through multiple simulations and prototypes to achieve a low-distortion, high-compliance diaphragm shape and corrugation. It offers excellent bass reproduction, ultra-high-frequency reproduction, and high-sensitivity reproduction. The rear duct structure also maintains separation between the midrange and low frequencies, while delivering ample volume and quick, tight bass reproduction.
The ear pads are made of suede-like artificial leather, which feels pleasant to the touch and is suitable for long-term use. Furthermore, by utilizing the knowledge gained from developing numerous headphones to date, weight has been reduced in every detail, resulting in stability and comfort when worn.
The cable is detachable for easy replacement and uses a screw-type lock ring for secure connection. The ear pads can be replaced by the user. *Replacement ear pads are available as service parts.
The cable uses a standard 6.3mm stereo plug, which is widely used in production environments. By using the included plug adapter, it can also be connected to devices with a 3.5mm stereo mini jack, such as PCs, smartphones, and Walkman®.
