The Type 92 Heavy Machine Gun was officially adopted in 1932 (Showa 7) and served as the main heavy machine gun of the Japanese Army until the end of the Pacific War.
It employed a 7.7mm caliber and, with its sturdy tripod and optical sight, excelled in long-range accuracy.
