Mario and his friends take on baseball. This "anything goes" baseball game features incredible plays and unique special moves. To pitch and hit, simply swing the Wii Remote in time. Fielding and base-running actions are also instantly enjoyable with just one Wii Remote. Up to four players can play in various combinations (2 vs. 2, 4 vs. COMBAT, etc.).
● Throwing
Build up power by swinging your Wii Remote back at the bat, then swing the Remote at the right time. You can even throw a curveball by twisting or combining buttons.
● Hitting
Swing the Wii Remote as the ball approaches home plate. A well-timed swing will result in a long hit.
● Special Moves
Special moves with different effects can be used for pitching and batting, depending on the character.
・"Mario's Fire Shot": The ball bursts into flames, burning fielders who touch it.
・ "Luigi's Tornado Ball": The thrown ball becomes a tornado that moves left and right as it moves forward.
● Friend Actions
By placing characters with good chemistry nearby, you can use Friend Actions. ・ "Friend Jump (Defense)": Cooperate with your Friend characters to perform a high jump to block a home run.
・ "Obstacle Item (Attack)": If two Friend characters are batting consecutively, you can launch an obstacle item to disrupt the opposing team's defense.
● Stadiums
There are nine different stadiums, from traditional stadiums to ice stadiums where the ground freezes over and characters slip. Be careful of the traps, as they can lead to unexpected trouble. The traps even change during night games...
● Join the Game with Mii Characters
Up to eight Mii characters (excluding the captain) can be used as team members.
