This calcium supplement uses highly absorbable natural oyster shells (Borei). Each daily dose (3 tablets) contains approximately 700mg of calcium (Ca: 40.08). It also contains amino acids (L-lysine hydrochloride) and bile acid components (ursodeoxycholic acid) to aid calcium absorption.Calcium is an extremely important component for bones and teeth, yet it is said that Japanese people often have insufficient calcium intake. Inadequate calcium intake can lead to a decrease in bone calcium levels, making bones brittle and prone to fractures. Therefore, it is important to consciously ensure adequate calcium intake on a daily basis.During pregnancy and lactation, increased calcium is needed both to supply calcium to the fetus or infant and to prevent bone and tooth fragility in the mother. However, meeting the required calcium intake through diet alone is often difficult, making supplementation with calcium supplements necessary to cover the deficiency.
