The Dafi Unimax filter contains a carefully selected and systematically monitored filter mixture consisting of activated carbon and ion exchange resin. This significantly reduces water hardness (causing scale formation), heavy metals, chlorine compounds, and other undesirable substances that can affect the taste of tap water. It fits most jugs from other manufacturers.

Filtration step by step: - The top filter cover captures mechanical impurities. Properly designed, it ensures proper circulation of the filtered water. - The filter mesh retains suspension or sediment in the water, e.g. foam, grease, rust. - The ion exchange resin removes some heavy metals from the water and allows the capture of compounds responsible for limescale. This softens the water and prevents cloudy sediment from appearing in the tea. - Activated carbon reduces chlorine and organic compounds found in tap water. It removes unpleasant odors and improves taste. - The microporous bottom cover performs mechanical filtration again, ensuring the highest water purity.
