This M.2 converter enables the following applications: It can connect dual M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs in 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 formats. The converter can be installed internally in the system via dual SFF-8611/8612 Oculink interfaces. SATA power is required. The converter works with one Oculink and one NVMe, or two Oculinks and two NVMes. This Oculink M.2 converter cannot convert NVMe to SATA/SAS, nor can it convert NGFF/SATA/SAS to Oculink. Oculink 4x connectors are internal and external small form factor PCI-E connectors and cables optimized for client and market applications. The HyperKit storage controller features an Ultra PCI-E Oculink interface (PCIe 4.0/5.0 x4), and the card works with PCI-E NVMe SSDs. (It does not work with SAS or Slimeline SAS HDs.)
