Uses resistance tips (staples) for thermal bonding of plastics
Suitable for repairing and reinforcing various types of damaged plastics. It works well both for repairing everyday appliances and, for example. car parts such as bumpers or dashboards, housings for garden tools (e.g. lawnmowers).
The "iron" smoothing tip is ideal for finishing joints. Allows to smooth sharp joints, plastic burrs, cracks, and more. It is mounted stably by pressing.
The set includes staples allowing work on various types of damage - depending on the type of welding, the appropriate tip shape should be selected. Staples for work are included:internal corner - designed for joining plastics at an angle from the inside
external corner - designed for joining plastics at an angle from the outside. Before use, it can be gently shaped to fit the surface - thin tip for the least demanding work. Gently wavy - highly wavy tip for the most demanding joints. The wavy shape ensures the strongest bonding force thanks to the largest contact area with the plastic. The staples are available in sizes 0.8mm and one "W" pattern in size 0.6mm.
Technical data:Power: 230V Moc maksymalna: 100WQuantity of staples in the set: 400 pcs (100x each type)Length of the electrical cable: 160cm
Principle of operation:Mount the selected tip onto the device - upon pressing the trigger, the tip will start to heat up. Once the appropriate temperature is reached, the tip should be melted into the damaged plastic to strengthen or join the components.. For some connections, several tips need to be used for best efficiency. After melting and cooling, the tip is bent by hand, without using tools. It will break at the right place. If it doesn't break off as planned, you can cut off the tips with the included pliers.
