Magsealed: Daiwa's unique waterproof structure that shuts out the intrusion of seawater and dust by creating a wall of magnetic oil in the gap between the body and rotor. Because the body and rotor are contactless, it maintains light and smooth rotation while preserving the initial rotational performance for a long period of time. Many causes of rotational noise are due to salt buildup and the intrusion of foreign matter. Excluding cases such as accidentally dropping it in water, the rate of rotational noise occurrence in Magsealed reels has been significantly reduced. Moreover, this ratio is showing to become even larger in the data as time passes. This means that the longer you use it, the more its effect will be demonstrated. In other words, it is proof that the dustproof and waterproof capabilities of Magsealed are at a very high level.

Digigear II: Daiwa's unique digital design technology "Digigear" has evolved even further. Cross wrap: By adopting a cross-wrap method with a large winding angle, the line is wound in a cross pattern to prevent the line from digging into the spool winding section and the line from slipping. Cast Lock Manual Return: A mechanism that prevents line breakage etc. due to bail flipping during casting. By raising the bail, the bail and rotor are firmly fixed in the lock position. When excessive load is applied, the rotor rotates for safety but the bail does not flip, thereby preventing accidental bail flipping during casting. The bail uses a manual return system that is returned by hand.
Infinite Stopper: A stopper that instantly stops the reel's reverse rotation using the friction of a roller. Provides a tight, smooth feel without play or looseness, resulting in comfortable operation.
