The TV series "Denkou Choujin Gridman" began airing in 1993. Despite being created before personal computers were common in everyday households, it gained popularity for its content, which anticipated modern concepts like the internet and computer viruses. "SSSS.GRIDMAN" is scheduled to air in the fall of 2018! The animation will be produced by TRIGGER, the studio behind "Denkou Choujin Gridman Boys Invent Great Hero," which premiered at the 2015 Japan Anime Expo. The film will be directed by Satoshi Amemiya, who also directed that film. In 2018, when that future becomes reality, Gridman returns to the world of animation.
